Kona Gateway Hardware Revisions - Sept. 2022

We have released a new hardware revision for the following gateways:
  • Kona Macro
  • Kona Micro
  • Kona Mega
The following changes have been made:
  • Nano SIM (4FF) instead of Micro SIM (3FF)
  • Micro USB console instead of Mini USB
  • New FPGA chip

    Because of the new FPGA chip, newer gateways will NOT be backwards compatible with previous BSP versions.

    • In addition to the hardware revisions, the login procedure for the gateways have changed to be compliant with security audits.
    The new credentials for the gateways are as follows:
    • Username: admin
    • Password: <random string>
    Please note that the new password can be found in the test report included in the gateway packaging.
