Below are description and video links showing process of activating and putting sensor back to sleep for the SPARROW / PELICAN Enterprise Asset Tracker.

Video 1: Waking Up

·         No LED activity at first.

·         Locate the magnet symbol on the end cap.

·         Place the magnet on the body of the enclosure adjacent to the magnet symbol as shown.

·         Hold for 5 FULL seconds then remove magnet.

·         After another 5 seconds, the green LED will flash slowly 3 times.

·         After another 3 seconds, the device will reset and begin the normal join procedure.

Video 2: Activating sleep mode

·         Device must be in the process of trying to join the network (rapid green LED flashes with a red LED flash every 10s).

·         Locate the magnet symbol on the end cap.

·         Place the magnet on the body of the enclosure adjacent to the magnet symbol as shown.

·         Hold for 5 FULL seconds then remove magnet.

·         After another 5 seconds, the rapidly flashing green LED should stop.

·         After another 3 seconds, the device will reset (both red and green LEDs come on briefly) then the greed LED will flash quickly 3 times.

·         The device is now in DEEP SLEEP mode.
